Curry Chicken Noodle Soup.

During cold winter nights sometimes all I want is some good old fashion soup.
My Husband is an excellent cook and  this is his tasty version of  basic chicken noodle soup,
adding curry just heats things up a little.

 Recipe

 Ingredients

5 pound Chicken
One large box of chicken broth
2 to 3 onions diced
4 or 5 stalks of celery diced
4 or 5 carrots  diced
1 or 2 cloves of garlic chopped
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Curry 1 to 2 teaspoons
1 cup of egg noodles
3 Tbs of olive oil

Add three Tbs. of oil to you pan and saute your vegetables about 10 minutes.

Rinse your chicken and add it to your pan with the vegetables.

Pour the whole box of chicken broth over your chicken the cover the rest with water
Add your salt, pepper and curry.
Boil for about 1 1/2 hours.
Taste it to make sure you have it just the way you want.

Remove the chicken from the soup.
You might need to add a little more water at this time.
Then take all the chicken off the bone,
returning all of that yummy chicken back to your soup,
bring the soup back to a boil and add your noodles.
Cook noodles for about 7 minutes.
Then eat.

Chicken soup that warms your body and spirit.

Re-Styling My Coach Bag.

A tragic accident happened to one of my favorite bags. Dark Dye was spilled on it.  I tried for 3 days to get it off, using everything on the internet that said it might help. Nothing worked.
What is a girl to do?  Re-style it of course.  It needed a little update anyway.
  Here is what I did.

Tutorial
Things you need

  1.  Leather bag
  2. Liquid gold leaf
  3. Brown shoe polish
  4. Q-tip
  5. Paper towel
First I couldn't decide if i just wanted to do the brown polish.
But  it didn't cover up the stain.
 So gold leaf it is.

I put the  gold leaf on with a Q-tip.

Then I carefully  covered the gold  with the shoe polish to knock down the shininess.
Carefully wipe down the shoe polish with a paper towel.
You could tape off the parts you don't want to be touched, just to be safe.

Hello new bag!
 Am I done?
Not sure, let me think on this.

Don't be afraid to change things.
Have a wonderful Saturday

Feminine - Masculine.

Jacket I Re-Styled HERE

Camo Jacket  HERE
Jeans, sequined tank and bracelets ~Charlotte Russe,
Shoes~ Guess,
Red envelope clutch ~Target

I have always loved mixing masculine with feminine.  There is something that attracts me to the idea of  such an oxymoron?  High heels with a man's tie, or suit jacket:  a pair of boyfriend jeans with a sequin top or a really soft sheer shirt.  I believe that it gives us that little bit of mystery we all love.
 It also leaves people asking;
Is she girly, girl or does she like to be outside riding horses, camping and hiking?
I have the answer that question.
It is a great big YES.
Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Glided Camo Jacket, DIY.

Why not spice up  a camo jacket with a little glitter and gold paint.?

Tutorial
Things you need.
  1. Camo Jacket
  2. Gold fabric paint Tulip Michaels or HERE @ I LovetoCreate.com
  3. Glitter Martha Stewart Michaels or HERE
  4. Mod podge fabric glue  HERE @ Plaid
  5. Stencil
  6. X-acto knife
  7. Paint brush
  8. Sponge stencil brush Tulip
I mixed a little glitter in my gold paint then I painted random light parts of the camo.
 Once the gold paint dried,
I painted a thin layer of glue on top of that
and sprinkled more glitter on top of that.

Then I drew what I wanted to put on the back and I used my X-acto knife to make a stencil.

I Made some Angel wings for the pocket.

tape it to your jacket and using your pink sponge brush,
stencil with gold paint-then glue- then glitter.

Let dry for about ten minutes, remove stencil.

I am so happy how this turned out.
Have a great Monday.

Anne
